Japanese Hiragana

Hiragana syllables developed from Chinese characters. Hiragana was originally called onnade or 'women's hand' as were used mainly by women and men wrote in kanji and katakana. By the 10th century, hiragana was used by everybody. The word hiragana means "ordinary syllabic script".

In early versions of hiragana there were often many different characters to represent the same syllable; however the system was eventually simplified so that there was a one to one relationship between spoken and written syllables. The present orthography of hiragana was codified by the Japanese government in 1946.

In column the rōmaji appears on the left, the hiragana symbols in the middle and the kanji from which they developed on the right. There is some dispute about which kanji the hiragana developed from.

Movies

I saw many movies during in summer vacation and those movies are really fun. Among the movies I recommend you Spider-Man and Death Note. You know, these movies were made from comics. Comics are read and liked many people, so the movies were a smash hit.

First, I will talk about ''Spider-Man''. Peter Parker(Tobey Maguire), Harry Osborn(James Franco), and Mary Jane Watson(Kirsten Dunst) visit a genetics laboratory at Columbia University with their high school class. While taking photos in the laboratory, Peter is bitten on the hand by a genetically engineered spider. When he awake next morning, marvelous eyesight and physical strength were equipped on the body. In addition, gossamer was able to dash out from the wrist, and to scramble the wall only with the tip of a finger. Peter decides to enter a wrestling tournament to get money to buy a car and impress Mary Jane. He won, but he is cheated out of the tournament money. In retaliation he allows thief to escape with money. He use the power for his interested, but his uncle Ben killed by thief who was allowed by Peter. He felt cost of power. Afterword, on graduating school, he decides to use his abilities to fight injustice, and then Spider-man was born.

The second movie that I want to tell you is ''Death Note''. It is Japanese movie and it also comes from comic. Yagami Light is an intelligent young man who resents the crime in the world. His life is change when he discovers a mysterious notebook "Death Note", lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions say that if a human's name is written in it, that person shall die. When he meet owner of the Death Note, named Ryuk, Light decide to become "the God of the New World" by passing his judgment on those he thinks to be evil or who get in his way. A Death Note can kill any human whose name is written in it. All Death Notes are governed by the same rules determining the extents. Soon, the number of deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the ICPO and a mysterious detective known only as L. And then Light and L are started brain battle for their justice.
